StageArts Camp 2007

StageArts camp was magnificent although it's very tiring. the camp is something like an orientation and it's for peeps from all the different components of StageArts; Drama, TMT, Dance, Make-Up.

basically, the theme for the camp is 'Wicca's Covenant'. it's more or less about witches. when you talk about witches, there're many things that can be associated with witches. such as potion and black magic.

8 June, Friday
we sat according to groups. thought of our group name; Spooky Spider and the cheer. designed group banner. played games. lights out at 12.30 am.

9 June, Saturday
assembled at 6 pm for our PT exercises and games. the games were fun although some of us got badly dirtied.

we then took our bath. while on my way to toilet, I got no idea how my undies drop and I can't find it. I remembered that I brought it along. but nevermind la.

we then have crash components. we learned about all the different components of StageArts. for the Drama, most of it we did it during our past sessions such as voice projection, blocking, etc. we're given a pic and we must try to act like the person in the picture. and I was given a picture of a HOT BABE. I got no choice but to act like a GAY for awhile. haha. we also did short skits. after that was lunch and discussion on what we wanna do for Sceance Night. for Dance, we're taught a few dance steps and a set of choreographed dance steps. before that was the stretching and it's making my body and legs aching. but it's interesting after all. for Make-Up, my group dressed me up as a frog and Brandon as a wizard. not only the outfit. but also the make-up. it's darn fun. we also played the polar game. it's something like murderer. yepps.

Sceance Night was something like campfire. it's held at the dome. all groups need to do a short skit. my group did about 3 guys who're very unappreciative. so the girls make a potion and feed the 3 guys without the guys knowing that it's a potion. after drinking the potion, I went blind, Kenneth lost his manhood and Brandon turned mute. that's kinda LAME actually. haha. but at least we came up with something. I like the cheer the seniors did. very captivating. I like Fadlul's group's skit especially when Liana said "LOL". haha.

for Night Walk, we must be in groups of 4 consisting of 3 girls and 1 guy. we must go to certain stations where the "ghost" will be and they'll show us the next station. there're certain stations which were so shocking that I also got a shock of my life. when we're done we're allowed to have a short nap while waiting for the rest to finish.

I slept at about 4 am without bathing as I was too tired.

10 June, Sunday
assembled at 8 am. did a bit of stretching unlike the day before. played captain's ball. my group came in third. but at least we have fun and some points.

after that, we have breakfast and discussed our Finale item with our dirty body.

after that was the dressing up of mascot with newspaper and masking tape. we dressed Nadia up as a wolf but it looks like a cat instead. Nadia then accidentally undressed her mascot. as we're using the mascot for the water games, we got no choice but to volunteer myself to be dressed up. I have so many newspaper on me in the first place. and in the end, half of the newspaper gone.

after that was our lunch and discussion for our Finale item. for the finale item, we decided to combine with White Lighters. leaders wasn't allowed to be involve in the item. but it's okay.

for the Finale, my group did a skit on a guy who have an affair with someone's wife. the husband was jealous that he killed the guy who's having an affair with her wife. then one day, 2 students saw a skull who's asking for help and will grant any of their wishes. the students agree to help. their wishes were granted. and the murderer was arrested. the dancers put up a short dance performance. I like the item the drama seniors put up. it's darn funny.

at the end of the camp, I've learned many things. basically, TEAMWORK is important in a group. I admire Aisha's group for their great teamwork. they really cooperate very well. that's why they were in the first place. yepps. there're also great bondings during the 3 days. yeah! and overall, I enjoy the camp. yeah!
